On September 8, 2000 I left with 7 others for a weekend trip to Long Island, NY. We stayed with friends on the island who went above and beyond to make our weekend as memorable as possible.

Upon our arrival we sat down to an abundance of great food! In my opinion there could have been no better way to start the weekend. After dinner we headed off to a car show and had a great evening checking out the cars and having a few laughs.

On Saturday morning we headed out to Southold. We dropped off our gear and set forth to have a wonderful day of riding.

Of course you can't start a ride on an empty stomach! First thing we needed was fuel and for that we went to the Hellenic Snack Bar/Restaurant and had our fill.

Our ride also consisted of a short ferry ride over to Shelter Island.

Unfortunately all good things must end. On Sunday we headed back to Port Jefferson and got back on the ferry to go home.
