These pictures were taken at the B-52 Stratofortress-C Crash Site on Elephant Mountain. This plane crashed into the mountain on Thursday January 24, 1963. Of the nine member crew only 2 survived the crash. The survivors were the pilot, Lt. Col. Dante E. Bulli and the navigator, Capt. Gerald J. Adler. The other crew members were Lt. Col. Joe R. Simpson, Jr, Maj. William W. Gabriel, Maj. Robert J. Hill, Capt. Herbert L. Hansen, Capt. Charles G. Leuchter, and T-Sgt. Michael F. O'Keffe and Maj. Robert J. Morrison.
